Saying of the Interpretation:

High above in the sky is a clear moon, but being hidden from view by the cloud.
When the cloud clears and the moon seen, its brilliance is still there.
With misfortune gone and good fortune comes, the lucky star shines, heavenly kindness will land on the
philanthropists.


Saying of Judgment:

Contest in lawsuit will be won; luck in making big money is average; persons come by, pregnancy gives birth to male; traveling is safe; marriage is slow to come by; it is safe to move house; Fengshui is good; an eminent person will come by when fallen sick; scholarly honor or official rank can be achieved by hard work.


Saying of the Legend:

This is a Buddhist story. Sage Mulian has remarkable supernatural ability. His mother did many evil deeds during her lifetime.  After her death, she fell into the hungry ghost's path to suffer for her past misdeeds. With his supernatural power, Mulian tried to save and release her soul from the purgatory. He asked Buddha for help. Buddha taught Mulian to set up the Hungry Ghost Festival and provide supplies for all monks and priests, as well as asking all the heavenly
Bodhisattva
to exercise their Dharma powers.  Later, his mother could be removed from the sea of suffering and released into the heavenly garden.
