Saying of Interpretation:

Retreating is desirable, while advancing is not advisable.
Be satisfied with the present conditions; do not ascend to a higher branch.
Resting in silent places free one from any troubles, while not seeking fame and wealth is beneficial to one’s disposition.


Saying of Judgment:

The house adheres to past practice and god of the year is average; there is luck in making big money; contest in lawsuit ends in peaceful settlement; pregnancy gives birth to male; handling of other people is creditable, lost persons are able to be found; good fortune is wished for in sickness, Fengshui is as before, and marriage is in the waiting.


Saying of the Legend:

A story from Fengshenbang (List of enshrined gods),  with his palm holding a pagoda, the heavenly King Li Jing assisted the Jiang Ziya to defeat the last ruler of the Shang Dynasty, reputedly a tyrant King. After that, Jiang Ziya established the Zhou Dynasty. He set up a list of enshrined Gods and held a God enshrining ceremony, in order to pacify the souls of generals and soldiers killed in the battles. Since that, rivers became clear and the sea was calm and at peace with the world.  Emperor Zhou Wu wanted to bestow noble and give rewards, as well as bestowing lands to founding fathers who had rendered outstanding service to the Kingdom. But Li Jing requested to be allowed to return to the mountains to practice Taoism to live quietly and attempting nothing. The life of not seeking fame and gain of wealth. Later, "his mortal body became sage" and was enlisted into the class of celestial beings.
