Saying
of the Legend:
When the Confucian scholar Sage of China in ancient times, MengZi
(alias, Ke), was young, his household was near a tomb garden. By his
slight age, every day, he played by imitating others in blowing pipe
and beating drum for making sad music for conducting funeral
arrangements. This alarmed Meng’s mother in a panicky situation.
She hurriedly took Mengzi moved onto the side of a market place. Who
would know that Mengzi imitated that butcher and started to play
slaughtering of pigs. Meng’s mother seeing such with worries within her mind, and
started to feel that that place was not suitable for cultivating her
son's growth too. Finally
Meng’s mother moved her house to be next to a school. Meng Zi
played the recreation of memorial ceremony for disciples and the
bowing and making way for each other. This time, Meng’s mother was
very joyful and felt relief to live in peace.
