Saying
of the Legend:
Li Mi was the military leader of the Wa Gang armed forces that
rebelled against Sui Yangdi of the Sui Dynasty. He proclaimed
himself as Emperor Wei. He
had heroic warriors as followers like Qin Qiong, Dan Xiongxin and
Cheng Yaojin. Being utterly isolated later, he and his uncle sought
refuge with Liyuan of Tang Dynasty and married the princess of Li
Rengong as his wife to enjoy the glory, splendor, wealth and rank.
But he was not contented with what he had. He killed his wife and
rebelled against the Tang regime. Together with his uncle, they were
shot to death by chaotic arrows. He was thirty-seven at his death.
