Saying
of the Legend:
Su Qin was a native of present day Henan Province, Luoyang during
Dongzhou of the Warring States time.
He tried to persuade King Qin Hui to annex the whole China
but his advices were not adopted. Later, he went canvassing the
States of Yan, Zhao,
Han, Wei , Qi and Chu to
close rank and resisted Qin. He
carried the chief minister's seals of six countries to become the
chief official of the united front.
Later Zhang Yi broke the united front and Su Qin was expelled
to Qi State to be its visiting feudal official. Because of power
struggles for imperial favor among the Qi officials, Su Qin was
assassinated.
