Saying of the Legend:

Jiang Wei was a brave general of the Shu Kingdom. Deng Ai was also a general in the Wei Kingdom.  Jiang Wei dispatched troops to attack Wei, and the two armed forces stood facing each other at Mount Qi.  Jiang Wei started the action by putting up Kongming tactical deployment and beaten the Wei army into retreat. On the following day, both Jiang and Deng, mutually assembled Eight Diagrams Formation. Jiang Wei army entered inside Deng Ai's formation to change as a long snake wrapping the ground formation. Deng Ai could not break out, and was surrounded inside.  At the critical moment, thanks to Sima Wang hurried to the battleground and rescued him out of the trap.
