God of Wealth Offering Set: $8 per set
As we welcome Chinese New Year, let us usher in the God of Wealth and pray for prosperity, career success, and blessings for the whole family in the year ahead.
The Temple will hold the Ushering in the God of Wealth Ceremony during the Zi Hour (子时) of the first day of the Chinese New Year. Led by our senior Taoist priests, devotees will gather to welcome the God of Wealth and offer prayers for a prosperous and auspicious new year.
On-site and Online Registration
Registration is now open! Devotees are encouraged to register early for the God of Wealth Offering Set and collect it at the Temple during the designated collection dates and times.
Devotees may register in person at the Temple or online and join our senior Taoist priests in welcoming the God of Wealth.
Following the ceremony, devotees may place their long incense sticks in the incense burner and burn the joss paper offerings at the designated burner, praying for prosperity, good fortune, and success in the new year.
Each God of Wealth Offering Set includes joss paper, long incense sticks, a portrait of the God of Wealth, and a small incense stick enclosed in a red packet. The portrait can be displayed in an auspicious location at home, while the small incense stick reveals lucky numbers when lit, adding a festive touch to the Chinese New Year celebrations.
For devotees who are unable to attend the ceremony in person, online registration is also available. During the ceremony, our senior Taoist priests will recite the registered devotees’ names before the Warrior Deity of Prosperity (武财神) and offer prayers on their behalf to complete the welcoming ritual.

- 4 February 2027 (Thursday): 9:00am – 6:00pm
- 5 February 2027 (Chinese New Year’s Eve, Friday): 9:00am – 11:30pm

For online registration, please provide your name in Chinese. Each offering set is limited to one registered name.
Devotees are warmly encouraged to register early and join us in welcoming the God of Wealth, praying for prosperity, good health, and blessings for the whole family in the new year.
The final collection cut-off time will be determined by the conclusion of the evening’s prayer ceremony.
