02. What are the services provided by the temple?
Our resident Taoist priests may provide free-of-charge services like interpretation of divination lots, choosing auspicious dates for events, conducting blessing rituals, guiding devotees on prayers related process etc. For more information, you may contact us at 67443187.
03. Does the temple provide services such as prayers ritual for the deceased or prayers for ancestors?
The temple does not provide services for the deceased or ancestors. However, you may wish to contact our affiliated entity San Qing Gong at 6244 9595 to check with them on such services.
04. Does the temple collect unwanted statues of Deities?
The temple does not provide this service.
05. Do you know which other temple(s) collect unwanted statues of Deities?
We regret to inform that we are not in the position to advise on this.

08. Can I offer to Sheng Hong Deity common offerings for ancestors such as paper clothing pack, notes of Hades etc?
No. Although the duties of Sheng Hong Deity include ruling the underworld realm, Sheng Hong Deity is originally a Deity who supervised the mortal realm.
09. Can I burn notes of Hades at the joss paper burner of the temple?
No. Any offerings of notes or joss papers meant for ancestors are strictly not allowed. Only joss papers (with silver stamping) offerings for the 8th General, 9th General and the 5 Generals of Hades, are allowed.
COVID-19 —— 01. Do I need to make appointment to visit the temple during the gradual reopening in light of COVID-19?
You do not need to make an appointment. When in the temple premises, mask must be worn at all times and all visitors are to adhere to the Safe Management measures. The number of visitors allowed into the temple at any one time may vary in accordance with the advisories issued by the authorities.
02. During the gradual reopening in light of COVID-19, is there any resident Taoist priest in the temple?
Our resident Taoist priests are continuing to provide services during this period. Devotees are reminded that masks are to be worn at all times and to adhere to safe distancing regulation.
03. During the gradual reopening in light of COVID-19, am I allow to use the divination lots to seek divine advice?
Yes. The divination lots are disinfected on a regular basis. Hand sanitizers are also provided for use by devotees pre- and post-utilization of the divination lots.
Blessing Products —— 01. How do I purchase the Amulet Bracelet?
Currently, pre-order will be required due to stock limitation. However, you may contact us at Tel: 6744 3187 or WhatsApp to 8127 6006 to check stock availability or to place an order. For more information on the product, please access this link.
02. What are the available payment modes?
We accept cash, NETS or credit card at our office. If you are placing an order through WhatsApp, you may make payment via PayNow.
03. How may I be notified when my pre-order is ready for collection?
Our staff will inform you via WhatsApp or SMS once your pre-order has arrived.
04. What is the difference between Constant Brightness Blessing,Jade Emperor (Tian Gong) Blessing, Brightness Blessing and Prosperity Blessing?
Constant Brightness Blessing is located at Tai Sui hall and meant for individual at $20 per person while Jade Emperor (天公) Blessing is an offering to seek the blessings of Jade Emperor for peace and prosperity. It can be for personal or as a family. For both, it will be lit up from the 1st Day of the 1st Lunar month till the 12th Lunar month.
Brightness Blessing is located in the main hall of the temple, while Prosperity Blessing is located at the God of Wealth shrine. For both, devotees may register for blessings for personal or as a family at $50 per registration per annum. An annual renewal fee is payable 1 month prior to the expiry based on the month of commencement. For example, if your registration is in March this year, you will receive a notification in February of the following year to renew your registration. You may opt to discontinue the registration.
05. Where do I register or place orders for the blessing items or merchandise?
The temple has developed an online service platform to facilitate devotees to register, make purchases or renew your registration online, at your convenience and comfort time and place. Please access this link for the webapp platform. We also welcome devotees to visit the temple personally to make purchases or for the registration.
Praying Procedures —— 01. What should I offer to the Goddess of Fertility and Childbirth?
You may offer fresh flowers with 5 oranges or apples. Joss papers and joss sticks are available at the temple.
02. How may I give thanks to Goddess of Fertility and Childbirth?
You may offer a bunch of grapes, 5 oranges, 5 apples, 12 red eggs with 12 pieces of Red Round Cake (Ang Yi if baby boy) or Red Turtle Cake (Ang Ku Kueh if baby girl).
04. Is confinement nanny allowed to pray at the temple?
We encourage that you only visit the temple 3 weeks after the last day of your confinement work.
05. When may I visit the temple if my family member has passed away?
We encourage that you only visit the temple 7 days after the funeral ended. When you arrive at the temple, please enter by the door on the right and depart through the door on the left. This is to inform the Deity of the conclusion of the funeral and to ask for blessings.
06. Does the temple consecrate the White Tiger?
The temple consecrates the Tiger Lord (虎爺將軍).

Praying to Tai Sui —— 01. When should I pray to Tai Sui at the temple during the Lunar New Year?
Devotees may pray to Tai Sui at the temple from the 4th to last Day of the 1st Lunar month. Our resident Taoist Priests will lead devotees for the prayers between 7:00am to 8:30pm daily.
02. What is the procedure to pray to Tai Sui during the Lunar New Year period?
Devotees may obtain a queue number to approach our working personnel for assistance to complete the Tai Sui prayer scripture. Devotees may also opt to self-complete the prayer scripture. Thereafter, purchase the Tai Sui joss paper set from the counter. The temple recommends 1 set per prayer scripture. Proceed to the exterior of the Tai Sui Hall and offer 3 joss sticks to Tai Sui. Place the joss sticks in the joss urn and proceed to queue to be led into the Tai Sui Hall. Our Master Taoist priests will lead devotees to pray to Tai Sui. Lastly, burn the joss papers as an offering to Tai Sui to symbolise the completion of the prayers to Tai Sui.
03. What information should I prepare if I would like to pray to Tai Sui?
The following information is recommended:
- Chinese Name;
- Lunar Date of Birth;
- Time of Birth
04. Which zodiac animal clash/offend Tai Sui in 2022?
The zodiac animals are:
Clash: Monkey
Offend: Tiger Pig Snake
Devotees of other zodiac animals but born in the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th Lunar months are encouraged to pray to Tai Sui.
05. Can I pray to Tai Sui if my zodiac animal is not listed above?
Any devotees may pray to Tai Sui for blessings. As the Chinese saying goes “Pray sincerely and be blessed”.
06. Do I need to return thanks to Tai Sui if my zodiac animal is not listed above?
The temple encourages devotees whose zodiac animals clash/offend Tai Sui to return thanks at the end of the year. Those who have prayed to Tai Sui in the beginning of the year for blessings are encouraged to return thanks to Tai Sui at the end of the year.
07. Can devotees register for 2022 Constant Brightness during the Lunar New Year period?
Constant Brightness Blessing Lamps for 2022 are fully subscribed. Devotees may register for the Constant Brightness Blessing Lamp for 2023 from 04.02.2022. Devotees may visit our office or access the online platform to register, subject to availability.
08. What should I prepare if I would like to pray to Tai Sui on my birthday?
You may offer 5 oranges or apples, a box of longevity noodles and a “Fa Gao” (發糕). You may purchase the Tai Sui joss papers at the temple.
Thanksgiving to Tai Sui —— 01. When can I return thanks to Tai Sui?
Devotees may return thanks to Tai Sui from 1 December of the year. Please refer to the operating hours of the temple for information on visiting the temple.
02. When will the 2022 Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony be held?
The 2022 Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony will be held from 14 to 18 December.
03. What offerings should the devotees prepare as thanksgiving to Tai Sui?
Devotees may offer the Tai Sui joss papers as a form of thanksgiving. The joss paper set is available at the temple. Other offerings may include 5 oranges or apples. Devotees may also consider registering for the Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ritual. Please refer to our website or Facebook for more information on the prayer ritual.
04. Are devotees expected to prepare offerings to Tai Sui during the Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony?
Devotees who wish to participate in the Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony should register for the prayer ritual. Registration starts from S$20 per name. Registrants need not prepare any offerings for the prayer ritual. Devotees who are praying on your own accord may offer the Tai Sui joss paper (available at the temple) on the day of visit.
05. Can devotees return thanks to Tai Sui before or after the Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony?
Devotees may return thanks to Tai Sui from 1 December of the year to the eve of the following Lunar New Year.
06. What does it represent to register for the “Individual Blessings”? Are registrants expected to turn up in person?
Devotees who have registered for the “Individual Blessings” hopes to receive blessings during the 5-day Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony. On the last day of the 2022 prayer ritual (18 December), Taoist priest will recite the names of the registrants. The Taoist priest will represent the registrants in returning thanks to Tai Sui. Registrants need not turn up in person.
07. Can devotees register for the 2023 Constant Brightness during the Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony?
Devotees may register for the 2023 Constant Brightness Blessing lamps from 04.02.2022. Devotees may visit our office or access the online platform to register, subject to availability.
08. Will there be any crossing of the “Bridge of Blessings” during the Tai Sui Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony?
Yes. Crossing of “Bridge of Blessings” will be held on 18 December at 7:30pm. However, the temple reserves the right to cancel or amend the event proper in accordance with updated SMM advisories from the authorities if any.
09. Are devotees required to register for the "Crossing of the Bridge of Blessings” activity?
No. However, devotees are encouraged to purchase a set of joss papers at our temple and follow the directions of the working personnel to cross the “Bridge of Blessings”.
10. Are the Blessing Crystal and Blessing Dipper Lamp available this year?
Yes. The Blessing Crystal and Blessing Dipper Lamp are available, on a first-come, first-served basis while stock last. Please proceed to our office before 17 December 2022 to register.
11. Which zodiac animals are expected to return thanks to Tai Sui in 2022?
In 2022, Monkey clashes with Tai Sui, while Tiger, Snake and Pig offend the Tai Sui. Those born in the year with these zodiac signs should give thanks to Tai Sui in 2022. Devotees of other animal zodiac signs but born in the 1st , 4th , 7th and 10th Lunar months are encouraged to give thanks to Tai Sui.
12. Which animal zodiac signs are expected to return thanks to Tai Sui in 2023?
In 2023, Rooster clashes with Tai Sui, while Rabbit, Horse and Rat offend Tai Sui. Those born in the year with these zodiac signs should pray to Tai Sui in 2023.
