Love Lock

A symbol of everlasting love, the Love Lock is a new prayer item by Lorong Koo Chye Sheng Hong Temple for couples to seek blessings from the Deity and to represent the eternal vows of love.

Each couple is encouraged to purchase a lock together and to inscribe both names on the lock before presenting the lock in front of Yue Lao (月老).  Both should silently recite each other’s name, birth date and pray sincerely before securing the lock at the designated location to receive blessings from the Deity and enjoy everlasting love.  Each couple may also purchase two locks and inscribe both names on each of the locks. The temple will assist you in the procedure.

The locks, with 7 colours to choose from, are available at our office. Quantity is limited, and sold on a first-come, first-served basis at $10 each.
