We will usher in the God of Wealth “Cai Shen” on the eve of Chinese New Year. Devotees are encouraged to register for a set of individual Cai Shen offerings at SGD$5.00/set. At 11.58pm, Master Taoist priests will lead devotees to usher in “Cai Shen” from the auspicious Southeast direction. After receiving “Cai Shen” in the new year, joss paper offerings are to be burnt while the joss sticks are to be placed in the joss urn in the temple or brought home to be placed in the altar’s incense urn to signify the completion of receiving the God of Wealth. Alternatively, you may place the joss stick in your living room until it burns out if you do not have an altar at home.

Devotees may register online to pre-purchase a set of “Cai Shen” offerings at SGD$5.00 and submit your Chinese name for the ushering in “Cai Shen”. You may collect the set of offerings at the designated counter in the temple on 30.01.2022 between 9am-6pm, or on 31.01.2022 between 9am-11.30pm. Collection of the pre-purchased offerings shall cease with the completion of the prayer ritual. At 11.58pm on 31.01.2022, our Master Taoist priests will lead devotees to receive “Cai Shen” (from the Southeast direction).

In light of the COVID-19 and prevailing safe management measures, the number of devotees in the temple may be limited. Taoist priest will recite your name during the prayer ritual, assisting you to welcome “Cai Shen”, and to bless your family with fortune, wealth and prosperity.
