The temple will be ushering in the God of Wealth “Cai Shen” on Chinese New Year’s Eve at 11:58pm (16.02.2026).

The ceremony will be led by Master Taoist Priest, together with devotees, to welcome the God of Wealth for the new year. The auspicious direction is South.

Devotees are required to register and purchase a God of Wealth offering ($8 per offering, per person).

During the ceremony, the offerings are to be burned at the joss paper furnace. The long incense may be placed at the temple’s God of Wealth incense urn, or brought home and placed at the household deity altar. For households without a deity altar, the incense can be placed in a temporary incense burner in the living room and allowed to burn completely.

Devotees must submit their Chinese name during registration so that it can be recited by the Master Taoist Priest during the prayer ritual, seeking blessings for prosperity and household abundance.

Registered devotees may collect their God of Wealth offering at the designated counter during the following hours:

• 15 February 2026: 9:00am – 6:00pm

• 16 February 2026(Chinese New Year’s Eve): 9:00am – 11:30pm

Collection will close upon the conclusion of the chanting ceremony.
